Cinema and movies are powerful mediums for storytelling and artistic expression. It allows the viewers to connect and reflect on their own lives and internal worlds. Kinky Soul Cinema aims to bring together people from across the sex-positive spectrum to experience and observe kink, fetish, LGBTQ+ gender identity, non-traditional relationships, and controversial forms of sexual expression on the big screen in order to facilitate open discussions and empowerment of the sex-positive community. This summer we have an open-air venue that will make our events even more special! at the iconic courtyard of Hackesche Höfe in Mitte.

Georg Friedrich Haas is a famous Austrian composer & the child of Nazi parents. His wife Mollena is a famous American kink educator & descendant of African slaves. Together they live in a public, kinky relationship they have both craved for 40 years: She is his slave & muse, he is her master – a combination that pushes people's buttons & touches on subjects like race, sexuality, politics & power dynamics. This film documents their lives between perversion, art, love & radical self-determination.

Beatrice Behn is a freelance film critic with 10+ years of experience and has been a senior film critic and editor-in-chief of Kino-Zeit until 2022, the largest German-language film magazine for arthouse and independent films. Her fields of expertise are genre cinema, bodies & genders, and feminist film studies. ̓THE ARTIST & THE PERVERT‘ is her first feature-length documentary. Beatrice is based in Berlin, Germany.
